Who are we?
The Development Agency for the Alpes de Haute Provence (AD 04) is the preferential contact organization for national and international businesses arriving in the territory.
Our missions:
To promote the territory to project initiators. Particularly in the flagship activity sectors of cosmetics, agrifood, tourism, energy
To prospect industrialists in France and abroad who are looking for implementation sites. For example by our presence at trade fairs, press monitoring, e-mailing, phoning, etc.
To welcome and assist businesses on the territory by offering them a customized service package.
To contribute to the economic development strategy of the Alpes de Haute Provence with local economic stakeholders.
Network and Partnerships
The Development Agency is the departmental relay for the the economic development agency for the Sud region (risingSUD).
It is also part of the national network of Business France.
In addition to this, the agency works in close partnership with the other agencies at regional and interregional level, and also with all the partners involved to provide the best service for the project initiator.
Governance
The Development Agency for the Alpes de Haute Provence (AD 04) is a 1901 French Law non-profit association. It has extended representativeness and field of action.
Under its governance, it groups together, and this is fundamental, the Conseil Départemental and Conseil Régional (Departmental and Regional Boards), Établissements Publics de Coopération Intercommunale (EPCI) – (Public establishments for cooperation between local authorities, institutional representatives from the corporate world and key tourism stakeholders).
The presidency is ensured alternately every 3 years by a representative of the Conseil départemental - or a member of the Chamber of Commerce.
