A connected territory in the Région Sud

The geographical location of the Alpes de Haute Provence will enable you to develop your activity efficiently, in European (Spain, Italy), African (Maghreb countries) and all over the world.

The Alpes de Haute Provence borders on the departments of the Alpes Maritimes, the Var, the Bouches-du-Rhône, the Vaucluse and the Hautes Alpes which puts it in the centre of the Région Sud Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.

The department is bounded in the south by the Luberon and Verdon Regional Parks and to the east by the Mercantour National Park. The department also shares a common boundary with Italy and continues to exchange with the country.

The department has easy connections with the urban clusters of Aix-en-Provence and Marseille.

This excellent positioning puts the department in line with the natural extension of the great economic clusters (4 million consumers less than 2 hours away). But this also means that it is near the most renowned activity and research centres such as Sophia-Antipolis, Grasse, Technopole de Château-Gombert, Euroméditerranée, etc.
