The Development Agency is a tool which helps to reinforce the attractiveness and economic and tourist outreach of the Alpes de Haute Provence.
What makes the Alpes de Haute Provence an outstanding territory!
Born of the combination of the Economic Development Mission (MDE) and the Tourist Development Agency (ADT), the aim of this new structure is to federate public and private stakeholders in the territory in order to raise the profile and notoriety of the Alpes de Haute Provence.
An extended representativeness and field of action
The Agency now has extended representativeness and field of action since it groups together under its governance all the local authorities (Region, Department, EPCI) which share "economy and tourism" skills, and also the economic and tourism representatives of the Alpes de Haute Provence (consular chambers, professional organisations, etc.).
The presidency is ensured alternately every 3 years by an elected representative of the Conseil Départemental (Departmental Board) or an entrepreneur who is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
